About the Role
As a Sales Executive, you will manage the complete sales journey, from prospecting and first contact to negotiation and deal closure. Your focus will be on discovering promising small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), identifying their digital advertising goals, and recommending solutions that help them grow. By combining proactive outreach with a consultative sales approach, you will develop relationships with key decision-makers, convert opportunities into business, and build lasting client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance: Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to presentations, negotiations, and closing, while meeting quarterly revenue objectives.
- Identify business opportunities: Research, assess, and prioritize SMBs with strong potential to invest in digital advertising.
- Lead outbound prospecting: Contact business owners and marketing decision-makers through cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Understand customer needs: Lead discovery conversations to uncover business objectives, advertising challenges, and available marketing budgets.
- Present tailored solutions: Deliver engaging sales pitches and product demonstrations that connect advertising solutions with clients' business goals.
- Manage your sales pipeline: Use Salesforce to organize leads, monitor opportunities, track deal progress, and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Negotiate and close deals: Address objections, discuss commercial terms, secure new business, and support a seamless onboarding process for new advertisers.
- Optimize sales strategies: Use customer feedback, market insights, and performance data to improve prospecting methods and conversion rates.
- Achieve key performance indicators: Meet individual and team targets covering revenue, outreach activity, pipeline growth, and deal conversion.
- Maintain clear documentation: Record sales conversations, client requirements, and opportunity updates in Salesforce to ensure effective collaboration and visibility.
Requirements
- Native or near-native German proficiency (C2) and advanced English skills (C1), both written and spoken.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with outbound sales, prospect qualification, and cold calling.
- A track record of achieving sales quotas in a professional, phone-based sales environment.
- Experience managing a substantial portfolio of accounts and generating qualified sales meetings.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable enterprise CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of digital advertising solutions such as Pinterest Ads, Meta Ads, Google Ads, or similar platforms is a strong advantage.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to identify and engage key business decision-makers.
- A proactive, resilient, and results-oriented mindset, with the motivation to pursue ambitious targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to capture attention, communicate value, and generate interest through concise, persuasive messaging.
Desirable Skills
We are looking for someone who combines commercial drive with strong interpersonal skills and a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Process Excellence: Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency, consistency, and quality.
- Collaboration: Sharing knowledge, ideas, and resources to achieve shared business objectives.
- Communication: Conveying information and ideas clearly and effectively across different channels and audiences.
- Emotional Intelligence: Recognizing and managing emotions to build trust, navigate challenging conversations, and strengthen professional relationships.
- Open-Mindedness: Welcoming different perspectives and adapting approaches to new ideas and situations.
- Critical Thinking: Interpreting data, evaluating options, and making well-informed commercial decisions.
- Solution Orientation: Taking a practical, proactive approach to overcoming challenges and finding effective solutions.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Spotting opportunities, thinking creatively, taking initiative, and approaching challenges with a business-growth mentality.
