Your career starts here. Help us build and deliver innovative payment solutions.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive, Mid-Market, to join our team and accelerate growth in our mid-market payments segment. The ideal candidate is a seasoned merchant-services sales professional with deep payments expertise and a proven ability to engage and close mid-market accounts.
As a hunter, you’ll generate high-value opportunities, build strong client relationships, and maintain a robust sales pipeline. You’ll drive new business and expand our market share with customers processing annual volumes of $10MM to $250MM.

This position requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently structure productive days and weeks while collaborating closely with the broader sales team and senior leadership. Success requires strong follow-up, accurate Salesforce management, consistent execution, and personal accountability for pipeline creation and opportunity progression.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively develop and manage a robust pipeline of mid-market leads and prospects, with a meaningful portion generated through direct prospecting and territory development.
  • Drive new business through a balanced mix of in-person field prospecting, cold calling, email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, networking, referrals, and existing relationships. Negotiate deal terms and close high-revenue opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Own and execute a structured territory plan, including daily and weekly priorities for pipeline creation, customer engagement, follow-up, and opportunity advancement. Collaborate with internal teams to refine selling methodologies and share successful approaches.
  • Build strong prospect and client relationships by educating decision makers on product capabilities, new offerings, and industry trends. Establish clear next steps after each meaningful interaction and maintain consistent follow-up to keep opportunities moving.
  • Monitor competitive offerings and industry trends within the mid-market space. Stay informed of regulatory changes and evolving client needs to inform sales strategy.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree, required.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a high-performing sales role, required. Mid-market merchant services or payments experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-generate a significant portion of sales pipeline, acquire new merchant relationships, consistently secure high-value accounts, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, merchant services, acquiring, pricing, and point-of-sale solutions. Experience with Fiserv and Clover is highly preferred.
  • Experience selling payments solutions into business-to-business customers.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to engage clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Ability to assess market trends and customer needs, develop actionable strategies, and drive business growth.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales analytics tools. Salesforce experience is strongly preferred, along with demonstrated discipline in maintaining accurate activities, next steps, opportunity stages, close dates, and forecasts.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently. Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, follow through on internal and external commitments, and operate with urgency and accountability.
