Join a fast-growing company helping financial services firms modernize how they manage compliance. Skematic, a business unit of Financial Recovery Technologies (FRT), provides a technology-enabled compliance management platform designed to help investment firms and other financial institutions, including hedge funds, private equity and venture capital firms, streamline complex compliance workflows, improve oversight, and operate more efficiently.
We are seeking a Sales Executive to play a key role in expanding Skematic’s presence within the financial services market. You will own your territory and sales targets, develop new relationships, and guide prospective clients from initial outreach through close.
Specifically, as a Sales Executive, you will:
- Prospect within your designated territory to identify opportunities, generate leads, and achieve sales targets.
- Own and manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and qualification through negotiation and close.
- Conduct compelling demonstrations of Skematic’s platform and for prospective clients.
- Develop a strong understanding of each prospect’s business, compliance environment, and operational challenges to position Skematic’s solutions effectively.
- Build relationships with Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other key stakeholders throughout the financial services ecosystem.
- Bring creativity, persistence, and a consultative approach to developing new relationships and moving opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting in HubSpot.
- Partner closely with marketing and our BDR team to drive new business and revenue growth.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- Experience selling into financial services organizations, including asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, venture capital firms, asset owners, and firms that provide products or services to these organizations.
- Navigated a sophisticated B2B sales process involving multiple stakeholders and decisionmakers.
- Learned enough about a prospect’s business, regulatory environment, and workflows to have credible conversations with financial services professionals.
- Owned a territory and proactively created new opportunities rather than relying solely on inbound demand.
- Operated in a startup or early-stage environment where priorities can evolve quickly and individuals are expected to be resourceful, adaptable, and hands-on.
- Worked closely with senior leadership while independently managing day-to-day sales activities and priorities.
- A working level of financial services literacy and the ability to understand and engage with clients operating in capital markets, asset management, investment management, or related areas.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for helping build and scale a growing business.
What Skematic/FRT Offers:
- Competitive salary and bonus
- Health, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k) with company match
- Income protection benefits, including life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability, plus access to a suite of voluntary benefits
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000–$120,000. Actual base salary will vary based on factors including geographic location, experience, and qualifications. On-target earnings (OTE) will vary based on base salary and the applicable incentive compensation structure.
Location: Boston-area candidates are preferred, with remote candidates in the Eastern and Central time zones also considered. Periodic travel to our Medford, MA office will be required.
