Sales Incentive Analyst / Commission Analyst / Commercial Reporting Analyst

Role Description The Sales Incentive Analyst / Commission Analyst / Commercial Reporting Analyst role is a remote position focused on designing, calculating, and analyzing sales incentive and commission plans, as well as preparing commercial performance reports. In this role, the analyst reviews sales data and financial metrics, validates inputs, and ensures accurate and timely calculation of commissions and incentives in alignment with company policies. The role involves creating dashboards and reports for leadership and sales teams, explaining variances, and providing insights to improve sales performance and commercial decision-making. The analyst collaborates with sales, finance, and customer-facing teams to resolve discrepancies, respond to incentive-related queries, and continuously enhance reporting processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, variance analysis, and proficiency with spreadsheets or BI tools.
• Clear and professional communication skills to present findings, prepare reports, and collaborate with stakeholders across functions.
• Customer service orientation to address queries from sales teams, resolve commission issues, and provide timely support.
• Foundational knowledge in finance, including understanding of revenue, margins, and incentive structures.
• Experience working with or supporting sales organizations, with an understanding of sales processes and performance metrics.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field.
• Experience in incentive/commission analysis, commercial reporting, or business analytics is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
