Sepal is a Zurich start-up working at the intersection of data protection and artificial intelligence. Our software lets municipalities, fiduciary firms and law firms use AI tools without exposing personal data. We are a small team, we build the product ourselves, and we are at the start of our sales effort.
We are looking for someone to build sales with us.
What you will do
- Contact municipal administrations, fiduciary firms and law firms by phone and e-mail, explain in two sentences what Sepal does, and book demo appointments.
- Write and run e-mail sequences, answer follow-up questions and keep to the follow-up dates.
- Maintain our CRM: who was contacted when, what was said, what the next step is.
- Take part in occasional events, trade fairs and association meetings and help prepare them.
- Collect objections and questions from your conversations and pass them on to product development in a structured way.
What you bring
- Enrolled at a Swiss university or university of applied sciences, for example in business, public management, law, political science or communication.
- German as your native language and comfortable speaking Swiss German on the phone. Good English.
- You like calling and writing to people you do not know yet, and you stay friendly when the answer is no.
- A start-up mentality: you take initiative, work independently, try things and learn from what does not work.
- A structured way of working: you follow through on what you promise and document it cleanly.
- Interest in data protection, AI or public administration. Sales experience is a plus, not a requirement.
- Resident in Switzerland, ideally in the Zurich area, with a quiet place to make calls.
What we offer
- 60 % workload, three days per week, days chosen by agreement. Remote within Switzerland, with occasional meetings and events in the Zurich area.
- Start as soon as possible or by agreement. Three months with an option to extend. A permanent position is possible depending on performance.
- compensation plus a commission on every signed contract you helped initiate. Equity participation can be discussed.
- A learning plan from day one: phone conversation technique, objection handling, building a sales pipeline, CRM practice. Weekly coaching by the founder.
- Direct work with the founding team, short decision paths, and visible results from your work.
- Reference letter at the end of the internship.
How to apply
Send your CV and three sentences on why you are interested to contact@sepal.ch. No cover letter needed.
