SIGRA | Full-time | Any SIGRA location | Partial remote via MS Teams | Start by agreement
A fish farm and a shipyard have different requirements. Both need a supplier who understands the complete delivery, from material choice to installation and service life.
As Sales Manager — Aquaculture & Maritime at SIGRA, you will develop relationships with aquaculture companies, shipyards, shipowners and service operators. You will own the sales process for a portfolio spanning tanks and piping for RAS facilities, steel structures, composite vessels, rehabilitation and maintenance.
What you will do
-Identify opportunities across land-based and floating aquaculture, RAS facilities, shipyards and shipowners.
-Build long-term relationships, prepare proposals tailored to each facility or vessel, and close contracts.
-Follow up pre-qualifications and framework agreements and coordinate with engineering, project delivery and sister companies.
-Represent SIGRA at customer meetings, site visits and industry events, and report sales pipeline, activity and forecasts.
What you bring
-3–10 years of experience in technical sales, business development or project management in aquaculture, maritime, shipbuilding or composite and plastics fabrication.
-Relevant technical and industry experience combined with a strong commercial track record.
-Understanding of thermoplastics and composites, or adjacent industrial materials and the drive to learn. Aquaculture procurement or shipyard and class process experience is an advantage.
-Confidence communicating with engineers and commercial buyers, and fluency in Norwegian and English.
