JOB TITLE : Sales Manager – Mineral Market
JOB LOCATION : Chennai

REPORTING MANAGER : Vice President – Marketing (Minerals)
Position Summary:
Play role of Minerals sales manager coordination with internal stack holders and customers to meet company targets.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Generate new enquiries for combustion products in Cement/minerals industries and work closely with customers for order conversion.
- Coordinate with all technical departments and provide end-to-end solutions related to combustions in consultation with Head of marketing (Minerals).
- Study of customer RFQ and guide the technical team to have technical rating of T1 as compared to other competitors.
- Support to commissioning team for kiln burner trouble shootings and perform the PGT on requirement basis.
- To lead Marketing activities of Cement Industry like i.e Kiln Burners, HGG’s, Calciner burners, etc.
- Prepare the annual budgets and RB projections in quarterly
- Review of ongoing live enquiries and future opportunities with Head of marketing in every monthly basis.
- Develop relations with Plant owners, Purchaser and consultants to give product presentation.
- Compliance of commercial terms & conditions as per Fives group directives.
- Negotiation with client to conclude Orders including Commercial as per group directives.
- Develop New customers. Approval of FCS name with consultants responsible for Proposal follow up, to get marketing intelligent information.
- Understanding & prepare the weakness and strengths of competitors.
- Product Promotion activities like Customer visits, Presentations, Organising Seminars etc.
- Participation in Industrial Exhibitions/Seminars.
- Prepare regular status on enquiries/ offer etc.
- On receipt of order, review it with finally agreed terms / scope etc., and acknowledge to client with comments for amendment in purchase order if required
- Monthly MIS Reports as required by Principles.
- Meet the annual booking target as per management commitment to the group.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 6-12 years’ experience in Cement Marketing.
- Deep technical knowledges on Cement Pyro Process
- Strong negotiation skills
- Understanding on commercial terms & conditions
- Hand hold on relationship with sub-vendors and minerals customers.
- Experience in managing Mineral marketing business and successful conclusions.
- Familiarity with mineral & cement processes.
- Ability to work well with others and lead by example
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PPT and Adobe Acrobat
- Good communication skills with clients and employees.
- Willingness to travel extensively for commissioning support and sales.
Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech – Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentations with recognized institute/university.
- MBA – Marketing will be preference
