OUR STORY

From an idea in one man's garage to an essential in every man's shower, Every Man Jack was created to give men everywhere clean, effective personal care that stands up to any adventure.

Born in 2007 at the base of Mt. Tam, near the great redwood forests of Northern California, Every Man Jack was founded to fill a gap in the men's care space. To remove the bravado and harsh chemicals that choked the industry, and focus instead on simple, clean products accessible to regular guys.

That belief is right in our name: the phrase “Every Man Jack” traces its origins back several centuries, when it meant “everybody without exception.”

Today it still means quality within reach. It stands for the man who fixes what's broken, who builds, and who welcomes the unknown. We're for the man whose routine belongs on the trail, in the surf, and under open skies. He's ready for the next story worth remembering.

WHAT WE DO

Every Man Jack, a B Corp Certified Company, is a leader in the natural men's grooming space, with a presence across major national retailers like Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, and Amazon.

We've experienced significant growth over the past several years and continue to add top talent to our growing roster.

Considering a host of recent initiatives, significant retail distribution opportunities, and high growth e-commerce initiatives, there is no shortage of exciting projects for the Every Man Jack team.

THE ROLE: SALES PLANNING MANAGER

EMJ is seeking a passionate and driven Sales Planning Manager to support the development & measurement of trade plans, 4P guidelines (sales playbook), customer-facing selling materials, and sales samples. This role sits at the intersection of sales, finance, and marketing, and is ideal for someone who is highly organized, analytically minded, and eager to grow within a fast-paced consumer packaged goods environment.

The Sales Planning Manager reports directly to the Sales Planning Director with additional support from Shopper Marketing and Broker Partners. Opportunities for new experiences to demonstrate leadership and growth are limitless.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure master data is relevant and up to date for selling purposes including specs, UPCs, pricing, etc.
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of the annual trade promotional calendar across retail and wholesale accounts.
  • Assist in post-promotional analysis to evaluate ROI and inform future planning decisions
  • Support the sales team in building customer sell sheets, new item forms, and coordinating sales samples.
  • Drive new fiscal year budgeting cycle to ensure category priorities and Sales Planning guidance is delivered to Field Sales
  • Leverage knowledge of the TPM system (Confido) to track and reconcile trade spend budgets and forecasts, flagging variances and ensuring accuracy in planning system.
  • Maintain account-level sales trackers and dashboards to monitor performance against targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and supply chain to align promotional plans with forecasts and inventory availability.
  • Support the onboarding of new items across key retail accounts, including item setup, sell-in tracking, and speed-to-shelf monitoring.

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must be passionate, organized, and love developing personal care, grooming, or skin care products. This person is highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills. While this candidate loves timelines and getting organized, this person has a remarkable ability to remain calm and flexible in the fast-paced, changing world of product development in a high-growth environment. The ideal candidate will be an intelligent team player – someone approachable with a positive, innovative and professional attitude who works smarter, not harder and takes on a “sleeves-rolled-up” and a “can-do” attitude when faced with challenges. A true ambassador for EMJ, both internally and externally.

CAPABILITIES & SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • 3+ years of experience in sales operations, trade marketing, category management, or a related CPG function.

    • High attention to detail and a comfort with numbers and data interpretation.
    • Experience with trade planning or deduction management tools (e.g., Confido, Vividly, Telus, BluePlanner) is a bonus but not required.
