Job Description
Position Overview
BOHUI is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Sales Representative to develop its business presence in Vietnam. The successful candidate will focus on distributor recruitment, hospital engagement, market research, and business development preparation for BOHUI’s medical diagnostic products.
As the products have not yet completed the required registration process in Vietnam, the initial focus will be on market development and preparation for future commercialization rather than direct product sales. The candidate will work remotely from home and report to the Overseas Business Department in China.
Key Responsibilities
1. Distributor Identification and Development
- Identify, research, and approach potential distributors and business partners for BOHUI’s medical diagnostic products in Vietnam.
- Evaluate potential distributors based on their product portfolio, sales network, hospital coverage, technical support capabilities, and experience in medical device registration.
- Arrange business meetings, introduce BOHUI and its products, and explore potential cooperation opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with qualified distributors and follow up on potential partnerships.
- Support distributor negotiations and cooperation preparations in coordination with the China headquarters.
2. Hospital Visits and Customer Relationship Development
- Visit hospitals, clinical laboratories, and relevant medical institutions to understand their needs and current testing practices.
- Establish and maintain relationships with laboratory directors, clinical department heads, physicians, procurement personnel, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Collect feedback on potential demand for trace element testing and other relevant diagnostic applications.
- Identify potential hospital projects, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and opportunities for future market development.
- Conduct market research and professional discussions within the scope permitted by applicable Vietnamese regulations.
3. Market Research and Competitive Analysis
- Research the Vietnamese medical diagnostics market, with an initial focus on trace element testing and related laboratory diagnostic applications.
- Collect information on competitors, alternative testing methods, market pricing, customer needs, purchasing processes, and distribution channels.
- Investigate relevant product registration requirements and market access conditions in Vietnam.
- Identify potential market opportunities, business challenges, and barriers to market entry.
- Prepare market research reports and provide practical recommendations for BOHUI’s Vietnam market entry strategy.
4. Business Development Planning and Reporting
- Develop and implement a structured market development plan in coordination with the Overseas Business Department.
- Prepare and maintain databases of potential distributors, hospitals, key contacts, and business opportunities.
- Submit regular activity reports, customer visit reports, distributor follow-up records, and market research updates.
- Participate in online meetings with the China headquarters and provide timely updates on market developments.
- Support the preparation of future commercialization plans and distributor development strategies once the necessary product registrations have been obtained.
5. Remote Work and Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work independently from home and manage daily activities, customer visits, and follow-up schedules effectively.
- Maintain regular communication with the China headquarters and collaborate with technical, regulatory, and marketing teams as required.
- Coordinate product information, technical support requests, and market feedback with relevant internal departments.
- Represent BOHUI professionally in communications with local distributors, hospitals, and other business partners.
