Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and clinically experienced Sales Support & Clinical Application Specialist to join our growing MedTech team in South Korea.
This role combines sales support, clinical application expertise, and customer training, working closely with surgeons, operating theatre teams, and healthcare professionals to ensure the successful adoption and use of our medical technology.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical environments, with experience either working directly in surgery or regularly attending surgical cases. You will play a key role in supporting product demonstrations, clinical training, surgical procedures, and customer implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical and technical support to the sales team throughout the sales process.
Attend surgical procedures and clinical cases to provide product and application support to surgeons and operating theatre staff.
Conduct product demonstrations, clinical presentations, and hands-on training for healthcare professionals.
Support surgeons and clinical teams in the appropriate and effective use of medical devices during procedures.
Assist with product implementation, installation, onboarding, and customer training.
Develop strong working relationships with surgeons, nurses, hospital staff, and other key clinical stakeholders.
Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs, support opportunities, and contribute to achieving commercial targets.
Provide ongoing post-sales clinical support and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Gather customer feedback and communicate clinical or product-related insights to internal teams.
Support workshops, conferences, exhibitions, and other medical education or commercial events.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's products, clinical applications, and relevant surgical procedures.
Travel regularly within South Korea and, where required, across the region to support customers and surgical cases.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Biomedical Science, Medical Technology, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare/clinical field.
Previous experience working in a surgical environment or regularly attending surgical cases is essential.
Experience in medical devices, surgical equipment, healthcare technology, or a related MedTech environmentis highly preferred.
Clinical experience as a scrub nurse, operating theatre nurse, surgical assistant, clinical specialist, application specialist, or similar role would be advantageous.
Comfortable working in operating theatres and interacting directly with surgeons and clinical teams.
Strong understanding of clinical procedures and the ability to confidently explain and demonstrate medical products.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Confident providing clinical training, product demonstrations, and in-theatre support.
Commercially minded with the ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and support business development activities.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities.
Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively within Thailand and occasionally across the region.
Professional level of English communication is preferred.
