About the Team
The Nomad Sales Team is at the forefront of our customer interactions, introducing property owners to Nomad and helping them determine the right solution for their rental property.
We operate in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment with ambitious goals and a strong team culture built on accountability, collaboration, and shared success. The Sales Team Lead plays a critical role in helping the team execute consistently while developing our sales reps and improving the way we sell.
About the Role
We're seeking a Sales Team Lead to own the day-to-day execution of Nomad's sales team.
This is a player-coach role for an experienced, high-performing salesperson who is ready to take on greater leadership responsibility while maintaining a smaller personal sales book.
The Sales Team Lead will be the primary point of contact for day-to-day rep questions, coaching, lead and deal ownership decisions, and sales escalations. You'll help keep the team focused on its goals, ensure sales standards and processes are followed, and identify issues before they become larger problems.
You'll work closely with Sales leadership on team performance, rep development, process improvements, and new initiatives while helping create a high-energy, accountable, and supportive sales environment.
Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Team Leadership
Serve as the primary point of contact for rep questions and escalations
Manage day-to-day Slack questions and sales issues
Help keep the team focused on daily/weekly goals and priorities
Identify blockers and resolve or escalate them quickly
Provide coverage and direction when leadership is unavailable
Coaching & Rep Development
Provide informal coaching and feedback
Review calls ad hoc or scheduled and coach on discovery, positioning, objection handling, and closing
Reinforce sales standards, including activity expectations and follow-up
Help coach newer AIPAs through ramp and development
Identify performance issues early and partner with manager on improvement plans
Lead & HubSpot Management
Own first-line decisions on ambiguous lead/deal ownership
Resolve lead routing and assignment questions
Assist reps to maintain accurate HubSpot records and deal stages
Identify CRM/process issues affecting the team
Escalate systemic HubSpot or lead-distribution problems rather than just solving one-offs
Sales Execution
Maintain a small personal sales book
Monitor daily/weekly performance against Booms, activity, conversion, and other KPIs
Identify reps or parts of the funnel falling behind
Drive execution on current sales initiatives, campaigns, and experiments
Help ensure new processes actually get adopted by the team
Voice of the Sales Team
Surface recurring owner objections, product friction, and process issues
Bring rep feedback and customer insights to manager
Help communicate product/process changes back to the team
Recommend improvements to scripts, workflows, lead handling, and sales processes
Team Culture & Accountability
Set the tone for responsiveness, effort, professionalism, and customer experience
Recognize strong performance
Hold reps accountable to established expectations
Help create a high-energy, competitive, supportive sales environment
Who You Are
3+ years of relevant sales experience, ideally in a high-volume B2C sales environment
Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals
Interested in developing other salespeople and taking on greater leadership responsibility
Strong coach who can provide direct, actionable feedback while building trust with the team
Comfortable making day-to-day decisions and exercising good judgment when the answer is not always clear
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable using CRM software, particularly HubSpot, and other sales tools
Data-oriented and comfortable using sales metrics to identify opportunities and performance gaps
Able to balance individual production with team leadership responsibilities
Positive, solution-oriented, and willing to take ownership of problems
Adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving environment
Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
Willing to work occasional weekends as needed
Compensation
Potential pay range: $100,000 - $130,000+ (base salary + variable compensation, depending on experience and performance).
Compensation for this role will include a combination of base salary and variable compensation tied to individual and team performance, with additional earning potential for exceeding performance targets.
Where you'll be
This is a hybrid role based in Denver, Colorado. Our office is in Uptown, surrounded by tech companies, coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants. Team members work in-office three days a week, with flexibility to work remotely the other two days.
