Salesforce Admin, Developer or Consultant - (Part-time/Contractual/Remote)

About the project

Careerflow Human Data Labs is partnering with Kosti AI to build a benchmark of realistic professional workflows across multiple domains, including Salesforce.

We’re looking for experienced Salesforce practitioners who understand everyday CRM operations and administration. You’ll help document real-world workflows that can be used to evaluate how AI systems perform Salesforce tasks.

This role focuses on Salesforce Lightning usage and declarative administration—not Apex coding or software development.

What you’ll work on

The approximate workflow mix is:

• 60% CRM operations: working with leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities, cases, quotes, and orders.

• 25% administration: objects, fields, page layouts, permissions, sharing, queues, and assignment rules.

• 15% reporting and automation: reports, dashboards, and Salesforce Flow.

Responsibilities

• Complete 4–5 agreed screen-recorded Salesforce workflows in an authorized environment.

• Follow realistic business requirements and explain the decisions behind your actions.

• Demonstrate appropriate record handling, ownership, relationships, and duplicate prevention.

• Verify that each workflow produces the intended result.

• Provide clear audio narration without preparing a formal presentation or tutorial.

• Keep customer information, employer data, credentials, and other confidential material out of recordings.

• Incorporate feedback to ensure recordings are accurate and suitable for benchmark evaluation.

Example workflows

• Qualify and convert a lead while checking for existing account and contact records.

• Update an opportunity based on a customer interaction and verify the resulting changes.

• Route a case using queues and assignment rules.

• Diagnose a record-access or field-editing issue.

• Create or correct a pipeline report.

• Review or configure a simple Salesforce Flow.

Required experience

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.

• Current or recent professional experience using Salesforce Lightning for CRM operations or administration.

• Strong familiarity with leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities, and cases.

• Working knowledge of permissions, sharing, layouts, queues, and assignment rules.

• Experience with reports, dashboards, and basic declarative automation.

• Ability to explain practical decisions and verify outcomes clearly.

• Comfortable recording your screen and narrating your work.

• Based in India.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Administrator or relevant Consultant certification.

• Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.

• Experience with data imports, duplicate management, and CRM data quality.

• Experience reviewing workflows or evaluating another person’s task execution.

Apex, custom development, and Marketing Cloud experience are not required and do not substitute for the CRM operations experience above.

Selection process

Shortlisted candidates will complete a case-based assessment on our platform using fictional CRM records, business requirements, and configuration summaries.

No Salesforce account or org access is required for the assessment.

The assessment evaluates workflow decisions, troubleshooting, expected outcomes, and verification—not memorized definitions. It may include a short follow-up discussion. Screen recording may be required with prior notice and consent. Generative AI and outside assistance are not permitted during the assessment; any allowed reference materials will be specified in advance.

Recording environment and confidentiality

The recording environment and access arrangements must be confirmed before project work begins. Candidates must not record or modify an employer’s or client’s Salesforce org without explicit authorization. Access to an org alone is not permission to use it for this project.
