The Allegro team is united by a clear purpose—advancing technologies that make the world safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer with 3-5 years of experience to design, build, and maintain custom solutions on our Salesforce platform. This is a hands-on technical role for someone fluent in Apex and Lightning Web Components who can turn complex business requirements into scalable, well-tested code. You will work closely with administrators, analysts, and business stakeholders as part of our global Salesforce Application team, based in Argentina on a hybrid schedule. You'll build on a Manufacturing Cloud–based org, Sales Agreements, forecasting, and high-volume scheduling following a Git-based release pipeline and a formal change-control process, in a regulated automotive-semiconductor environment.

What You Will Do

Development (primary focus)

  • Custom development: Design, develop, and maintain custom functionality using Apex (triggers with delegated handler classes, classes, batch, queueable) and Lightning Web Components (LWC); maintain legacy Visualforce where it still exists.
  • Data & performance: Write efficient SOQL/SOSL and build solutions that respect governor limits and perform well at large data volumes.
  • Testing: Develop with quality in mind: unit tests, strong code coverage, and adherence to Salesforce best practices.

Technical Delivery & Quality

  • Design & architecture: Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions for new features and enhancements.
  • DevOps & release: Work within the Git-based deployment pipeline (feature branches promoted through developer and QA sandboxes to production) using CI/CD and a Salesforce DevOps tool such as Gearset; participate in the formal change-control process peer review, QA/UAT with evidence, and change-board approval before production.
  • Code quality: Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Collaboration

  • Partnership: Translate requirements from administrators and business stakeholders into robust technical solutions.
  • Documentation: Document technical designs, integrations, and configurations.

Support & Maintenance

  • Ticket backlog: Triage and resolve the Salesforce support queue in Jira, following documented SOPs with required approvals and audit-ready documentation.
  • User provisioning: Manage user account setup and deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, and permission set groups, applying least-privilege access.
  • Data corrections: Perform data cleanup and corrections to resolve data quality issues reported by the business.
  • Day-to-day support: Provide day-to-day troubleshooting and assistance for business users and administrators.

What You Will Need

  • 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
  • Experience building REST/SOAP integration between Salesforce and other systems, including authoring Apex REST services and inbound patterns (e.g., OAuth2 client-credentials, Composite API).
  • Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD deployment tools.
  • Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, including sharing and FLS/CRUD enforcement, and governor limits.
  • Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Based in Argentina and able to work a hybrid schedule from our local office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional certifications such as Platform Developer II, Platform App Builder, or Application Architect.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Cloud (Sales Agreements, account-based forecasting), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tooling such as Gearset or Copado.
  • Integration of middleware experience (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi).
  • Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or global B2B enterprise environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
