Salesforce Functional Consultant / Business Analyst – Consumer Goods Cloud

At Vortech PCI Group, we are looking for a Salesforce Functional Consultant / Business Analyst to join an international Salesforce implementation project in the Consumer Goods sector.

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce professional with a strong functional background, capable of working directly with business stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.

The role will focus on Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, supporting the digital transformation of commercial processes, field sales operations and retail execution.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Salesforce implementations, functional analysis, business process optimisation and stakeholder management, ideally within Consumer Goods, Retail or similar business environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements through workshops with clients and stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and process flows.
• Analyse commercial processes related to field sales, retail execution, customer management and sales operations.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and identify opportunities to optimise business processes using Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Developers and QA teams throughout the implementation.
• Manage functional requirements, user stories and backlog priorities.
• Support Salesforce configuration decisions from a functional perspective.
• Participate in UAT, defect management and go-live preparation.
• Act as a key point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Support continuous improvement and adoption of Salesforce solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce, ideally as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst.
• Experience participating in Salesforce implementation projects.
• Strong background in business analysis, requirements gathering, functional documentation and user stories.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and leading functional discussions or workshops.
• Good functional understanding of Salesforce platforms, particularly Sales Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud or related Salesforce industry solutions.
• Experience with business process analysis, fit-gap assessments and functional solution design.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaboration with technical delivery teams.
• Experience supporting UAT and implementation activities.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced English.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, including Retail Execution, Visit Management, Trade Promotion Management or Order Management.
• Experience in Consumer Goods, FMCG, Retail or Distribution environments.
• Knowledge of field sales processes, merchandising or retail store execution.
• Experience implementing Salesforce solutions from discovery through go-live.
• Salesforce certifications such as Sales Cloud Consultant, Business Analyst or Consumer Goods Cloud Accredited Professional.
• Familiarity with Salesforce OmniStudio or Vlocity-based industry solutions.
• Experience with integrations between Salesforce and ERP systems.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Location: Barcelona, Spain.
• Working model: Hybrid – 2 days per week at the client's offices.
• Project: International Salesforce implementation within the Consumer Goods sector.
• Working languages: English and Spanish.
