Salesforce Solution Architect

We are rebuilding a legacy, heavily customized Salesforce org that carries a large data center operator's entire quote-to-cash lifecycle: quoting, contracts, order conversion, delivery oversight, and revenue control. The org integrates with Oracle Fusion ERP, ServiceNow, and a homegrown operations platform. The target platform decision (e.g. Sales Cloud vs. CPQ/Revenue Cloud) is open and must be settled during discovery, your architecture recommendation will directly shape it. We're looking for a Solution Architect who has done this before: a stretched legacy org, a multi-system rebuild, and a clean, low-risk path forward.

Requirements

• 7+ years in Salesforce architecture, with at least one full rebuild or major modernization of a heavily customized legacy org
• Hands-on depth in Revenue Cloud / CPQ (product configuration, pricing, quoting, contracts, order management), it's a core of this engagement
• Proven integration architecture with Oracle ERP (Fusion preferred) and/or ServiceNow; comfortable defining source-of-truth per data entity
• Solid grasp of the config-vs-code split, upgrade-readiness risk, and how to audit an org's technical debt (Apex volume, legacy automation, AppExchange dependencies)
• Data migration strategy experience at enterprise scale (object mapping, transformation, validation, cutover)
• Able to lead discovery end-to-end: current-state assessment, target architecture, licensing/edition recommendation, phased delivery roadmap
• Clear architecture documentation and confident stakeholder communication, you will present to senior business and IT leaders
• Salesforce Certified Architect-level credential (e.g., Certified Application/Integration Architect); Revenue Cloud / CPQ specialization strongly preferred
• C1 or higher English

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural discovery of the legacy org: config-vs-code audit, upgrade-readiness review, integration mapping
• Define the target state architecture and make the evidence based recommendation on Sales Cloud vs. CPQ/Revenue Cloud
• Design the integration architecture: Salesforce - Oracle Fusion, ServiceNow, and the homegrown operations platform (API patterns, middleware, error handling, source of truth)
• Define the data migration strategy and cutover approach
• Produce the licensing model and edition recommendation
• Author the solution architecture document, risk register, and phased delivery roadmap
• Partner with the existing Oracle Fusion program team to ensure one coherent delivery across both workstreams
• Work with the Business Analyst on scope, and on delivery alignment

Nice to have

• Experience in data center, infrastructure, or telecom industries
• Oracle Fusion implementation or integration background
• MuleSoft architecture certification/experience
• Exposure to RevOps / revenue recognition models
• Experience leading a Salesforce practice or delivery team

Working conditions

• Remote, Europe-based; overlap with CET business hours
• Discovery phase: 4 - 8 weeks from start, with an extension into full delivery
• Must be able to start within 1-2 weeks
• Long-term engagement potential tied to the client's multi year modernization program
