Futures start here. Where first steps, new friendships, and confident learners are born. At KinderCare Learning Companies, the first and only early childhood education provider recognized with theGallup Exceptional Workplace Award, we offer a variety of early education and child care options for families. Whether it’s KinderCare Learning Centers, Champions, or Crème de la Crème, we build confidence for kids, families, and the future we share. And we want you to join us in shaping it—in neighborhoods, at work, and in schools nationwide.

At KinderCare Learning Companies, you’ll use your skills and expertise to support the work (and fun) that happens in our sites and centers every day. From marketers and strategists to financial analysts and data engineers, and so much more, we’re all passionate about crafting a world where children, families, and organizations can thrive.

KinderCare is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to provide architectural leadership across our B2C family enrollment and customer journey platform and our B2B employer and partner relationship platform. In this role, you will establish architecture standards, lead solution design, govern platform automation and integrations, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with long-term business and technology strategy.

As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you have deep expertise in Salesforce Flow, enterprise integration through Boomi, data modeling, and platform security. You'll partner with Product, Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical designs, guide declarative versus code-based decisions, manage technical debt, and ensure consistent architectural practices across both Salesforce implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and govern Salesforce architecture standards, including data models, automation patterns, naming conventions, security and sharing models, and integration practices across B2B and B2C implementations
  • Lead architecture reviews and develop solution design documentation, including current- and future-state architecture, data models, integration specifications, security considerations, risks, and dependencies
  • Establish Salesforce Flow standards and guide declarative versus programmatic solution decisions to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, performant, and aligned with platform best practices
  • Oversee Salesforce integration architecture with Boomi and enterprise systems, defining standards for APIs, authentication, error handling, retries, monitoring, and data ownership
  • Monitor platform health, governor limits, automation complexity, data volumes, technical debt, and architectural risks while maintaining a prioritized remediation roadmap
  • Partner with Engineering and Quality Engineering on environment strategy, source control, release management, and testing while mentoring technical teams and ensuring architectural alignment with KinderCare’s enterprise technology strategy

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience with 8+ years of Salesforce platform experience, including at least 3 years in a solution or technical architecture role
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce Flow, including record-triggered, screen, scheduled, auto-launched, and platform-event-triggered Flows; strong understanding of automation architecture, bulkification, fault handling, performance optimization, and platform limits
  • Experience designing and governing Boomi integrations with Salesforce, including REST/SOAP APIs, Bulk API, OAuth authentication, Named and External Credentials, error handling, and monitoring; strong foundation in data modeling, security and sharing, integration patterns, and large-data-volume architecture across B2B and B2C implementations
  • Working knowledge of Apex, triggers, and Lightning Web Components sufficient to review code, evaluate solution designs, and guide developers; familiarity with source control, release management, and Salesforce DevOps tools such as Gearset is preferred
  • Proven ability to establish and enforce architecture standards, lead design reviews, document architectural decisions, manage technical debt, and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
  • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, and at least one Salesforce Architect-track certification, such as Data Architect, Sharing and Visibility Architect, Integration Architect, or Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect
