Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Salesperson based in Kampala, with some flexibility to work from home. The Salesperson will identify potential clients, present insurance products, and provide tailored solutions that address customer needs. Daily activities include prospecting, scheduling and attending client meetings, explaining policy options, preparing quotations, and supporting clients through the application and onboarding process. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in the sales system, following up on leads, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with colleagues in customer service and underwriting. The Salesperson is expected to uphold ethical selling practices, represent Liberty Uganda professionally, and contribute to ongoing customer education about insurance products.
Qualifications

• Strong customer relationship and communication skills, with the ability to explain insurance products clearly and build trust.
• Proven sales, negotiation, and persuasion abilities, ideally in financial services or insurance.
• Basic understanding of insurance principles and products; prior experience in insurance is an added advantage.
• Comfort with using digital tools for lead tracking, reporting, and remote communication.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages in Kampala is a plus.
