Kaufman Rossin is seeking Staff and Seniors within our Core Tax practice! You will support the preparation of federal and state income tax compliance engagements for a variety of business entities. You will work closely with our U.S. tax teams and India leadership to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality tax services to our clients. Prepare multi-state income tax returns for corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, and composite/withholding/pass-through elective returns. Assist with tax compliance engagements while ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable tax regulations. Utilize tax preparation software to complete returns efficiently and effectively. Collaborate with U.S.-based tax professionals and India managers to support engagement deadlines and client needs. Research tax issues and apply technical knowledge to assigned projects. Manage workload and communicate progress to ensure timely completion of deliverables. What Skills You’ll Bring: 2+ years of experience preparing income tax returns within a public accounting or professional services environment. Experience with tax preparation software. Strong understanding of tax compliance processes and deadlines. Ability to prepare and review multi-state tax returns. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different locations and time zones. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. How You'll Stand Out: Experience with tax software such as GoSystem or CCH Axcess. Understanding of state apportionment concepts. Experience preparing composite, withholding, and pass-through elective tax returns. Accounting degree or relevant educational background. Experience supporting U.S. tax engagements while working with international teams.
