SAP ABAP / RAP Consultant L2

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP / RAP Consultant with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP S/4HANA technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP programming, Core ABAP, CDS Views, and at least one of the following skill combinations: OData, RAP (Unmanaged Services), or AMDP.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, integrating, and optimizing SAP solutions while collaborating with functional teams and business stakeholders.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Candidates must have strong experience in any ONE of the following skill combinations:

1. S/4HANA ABAP + CDS Views + OData
   

2. S/4HANA ABAP + CDS Views + RAP (Unmanaged Services)
   

3. Core ABAP + CDS Views + AMDP
   

Important: Hands-on experience in the relevant skill combination is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support SAP ABAP/RAP objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
  

• Develop Classical, Interactive, and ALV Reports.
  

• Work on SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
  

• Implement User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework.
  

• Develop and maintain RFCs, BAPIs, and IDOCs.
  

• Work on integrations using ALE/IDOC, Web Services, APIs, and file-based interfaces.
  

• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
  

• Collaborate with functional consultants for requirement gathering and solution design.
  

• Prepare technical specifications and unit testing documents.
  

• Support SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
  

• Participate in code reviews and follow SAP development standards.
  

• Provide production support and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
  

Required Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
  

• SAP S/4HANA development experience.
  

• Expertise in CDS Views and at least one mandatory skill combination mentioned above.
  

• Strong knowledge of OOPS ABAP, ALV, and Data Dictionary.
  

• Experience with BAPI, RFC, IDOC, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.
  

• Good debugging and performance tuning skills.
  

• Understanding of SAP functional modules such as MM, SD, FICO, PP, and WM/EWM.

• SAP Fiori/UI5 integration.
  

• SAP Workflow.
  

• SAP HANA optimization techniques.
  

• Agile project methodology.
  

Interview Process
