SAP Ariba Implementation Consultant

Duties and Responsibilities: The SAP Ariba Implementation Consultants will be responsible for leveraging standard Ariba functionality based on Ariba’s Commerce Automation cloud package and integrating into SAP’s ECC solutions. Specific responsibilities include: Validate ability of Ariba “out of the box” business processes to integrate to SAP ECC Responsible for the Ariba architecture and solution integration to ECC Responsible for leading the data mapping and transaction mapping for Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, Service Entry Sheets (SES), and Invoices Build Ariba enhancements for client custom fields for Header and Line Item POs in Ariba. Build connectivity between Ariba and SAP ECC using the Cloud Integration Gateway ERP Add-On. This integration may require firewall rules, ports and protocols, whitelisting, or other network configuration. Build prototype Configure notifications based on standard Ariba messaging tools Training and support for Supplier on-boarding to the Ariba platform Serves as domain expert in providing process analysis, process and system design, systems development, testing, implementation, training and preparation of Ariba functionality and integration to ECC Review and Govern business process documents, functional and technical specifications, test plans and cutover plans for go-live Works closely with strategic solution partners, business process owners, architects/leads from other tracks and super users to close out every phase as part deployment playbook Requirements Minimum Qualifications/Experience: 3 - 7+ years of experience with 3 Ariba full life-cycle implementations experience and at least experience in integrating to SAP ECC Expert in Ariba Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, SES, and Invoices Experience in building integration to ECC using the Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) ERP Add-On Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms In depth understanding of the Ariba platform and architecture, security, and integration to SAP ECC Ability to work closely with other technology disciplines across integration, data, security and reporting Excellent documentation skills with advanced best practices and methodologies Good understanding of RICEFW and customizations End to End testing experience in an SAP and Ariba environment preferred Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Required Required Certifications: SAP Ariba certification preferred SAP, Agile, SAFe certifications desired Other: Must be US Citizen Having an Active DoD Secret clearance preferred or Ability to Obtain it Ability to work remote and occasionally travel to Arlington, VA ~once per quarter Skill set Minimum Qualifications/Experience: 3 - 7+ years of experience with 3 Ariba full life-cycle implementations experience and at least experience in integrating to SAP ECC Expert in Ariba Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, SES, and Invoices Experience in building integration to ECC using the Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) ERP Add-On Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms In depth understanding of the Ariba platform and architecture, security, and integration to SAP ECC Ability to work closely with other technology disciplines across integration, data, security and reporting Excellent documentation skills with advanced best practices and methodologies Good understanding of RICEFW and customizations End to End testing experience in an SAP and Ariba environment preferred Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Required Required Certifications: SAP Ariba certification preferred SAP, Agile, SAFe certifications desired Other: Must be US Citizen Having an Active DoD Secret clearance preferred or Ability to Obtain it Ability to work remote and occasionally travel to Arlington, VA ~once per quarter
