SAP Basis Administrator

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join a high-performing platform support team. This role will play a key part in maintaining and supporting enterprise SAP environments while assisting with the onboarding of new data virtualisation and data masking technologies.

Working closely with delivery and engineering teams, you'll act as a technical point of contact for SAP platform-related enquiries, incidents and operational support, ensuring stable, secure and efficient system performance. Key Responsibilities

• Support and administer SAP Basis environments across Windows and SAP HANA platforms.
• Manage system monitoring, maintenance activities and performance optimisation.
• Act as the primary support contact for technical platform enquiries and operational issues.
• Support SAP upgrades, migrations, system conversions and stack upgrades.
• Assist with the integration and onboarding of new platform technologies and tools.
• Work collaboratively with delivery teams to ensure system stability and service continuity.
• Support Salesforce (SFDC) integrations and related platform connectivity requirements.
• Contribute to platform improvements, documentation and operational best practices.
• Participate in Agile delivery and support processes.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• 3-4+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator.
• Hands-on experience supporting SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA environments.
• Experience performing SAP stack upgrades and supporting successful integrations.
• Knowledge of SAP upgrades, migrations and system conversions.
• Strong understanding of the SAP NetWeaver technology stack.
• Experience supporting SAP Fiori, Single Sign-On (SSO) and web application technologies.
• Good understanding of SAP HANA database administration concepts.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) architectures and clustering technologies.
• Experience supporting or managing Salesforce (SFDC) integrations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Desirable

• SAP Basis NetWeaver and/or SAP HANA Certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience working within Agile environments.
