Senior Technology Project Manager – Microsoft 365 & SharePoint Transformation

12-Month Fixed Term Contract | Circa $195K Package | Melbourne CBD – Hybrid

An opportunity to lead two significant Microsoft technology and information management projects within a highly regarded superannuation fund.

Frazer Tremble Executive is partnering with a leading Australian superannuation fund to appoint an experienced Senior Technology Project Manager to deliver two important initiatives as part of its broader technology transformation.

This is an opportunity to join a relatively lean, collaborative organisation that is investing in modernising its technology environment and strengthening its internal project delivery capability.

The Opportunity

Working within the PMO and closely alongside Technology, business stakeholders and an established Business Analyst and Change Manager, you will take ownership of two key initiatives:

1. SharePoint Modernisation

Lead the migration from SharePoint Classic to Modern, including:

• Migration and modernisation of the existing SharePoint environment.
• Remediation of access rights, permissions and information structures.
• Supporting improved information governance and future Microsoft Copilot readiness.
• Establishing a sustainable SharePoint operating model and transition to BAU.

2. Information & Records Management (RAD 2.0)

Lead the extension of records retention, archiving and destruction requirements across the broader Microsoft environment, including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and shared drives.

Both projects will require strong stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, careful management of dependencies and an understanding of the business impacts associated with technology change.

About You

We are seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager who combines sound technical understanding with strong business engagement and end-to-end delivery capability.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience delivering technology projects, including Microsoft 365 implementations, SharePoint migrations or platform modernisation.
• Exposure to information management, records management, data governance or migration initiatives.
• Experience managing external technology vendors, implementation partners and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong project governance, planning, risk, budget and dependency management skills.
• The ability to work confidently with technical specialists while translating technical requirements into meaningful business outcomes.
• Experience within superannuation, wealth management, financial services or another regulated environment, highly regarded.

Just as importantly, you will be a collaborative, pragmatic and proactive Project Manager who communicates clearly, builds trusted relationships and brings structure to complex or ambiguous environments.

You won't need to be the most technical person in the room. What matters is your ability to understand the technology, bring people together and drive delivery through to successful implementation.
