SAP Basis Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP Change Management Consultant with strong SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM), Transport Management, and SAP Basis knowledge to join our global partner's team in a fully remote contractor role.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support SAP application change systems (ChaRM, CTS+, among others) to manage application changes across multi-tier environments.
• Coordinate the planning and execution of special change windows.
• Provide consulting to projects on change management strategies and overall change planning support.
• Design, update, and implement change management processes and tools for different SAP architectures.
• Plan and facilitate Change Review Board (CRB) and Design or Architecture Review Board (DRB) meetings.
• Provide change management metrics and ensure process stewardship.
• Interface with stakeholders in IT and business regarding change management practices and changes.

Skills Needed:

• Solution Manager support (ChaRM Workflow, SM_WORKCENTER, CCLM, SMBB)
• Transport Management on ECC/S/4HANA ERP Landscapes (STMS, r3trans, rstmstiq, landscape routes) and transport-related transactions/functionalities
• BASIS: General troubleshooting and monitoring required to resolve change management issues such as RFCs, service ID roles, import RC errors
• Support for support pack upgrades from a change management perspective
• General change management support (maintaining autoimports/daily windows, performing emergency imports, disruptive windows, project-related migrations, freezes)
• System maintenance activities (LiveCompare server admin activities, SolMan testing, configuration activities for ChaRM, SMBB, CCLM)
