What you will be doing

• Lead the Software Lifecycle functional workstream throughout the SAP S/4HANA Build phase, ensuring alignment with the approved target operating model.
• Own the functional requirements process, including requirement clarification, process decomposition, fit-to-standard and fit-gap discussions, traceability and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate design workshops and decision forums with business stakeholders, delivery teams, solution architects and adjacent functional workstreams.
• Translate software lifecycle requirements into coherent end-to-end SAP BRIM process designs covering subscription, usage, charging, billing, invoicing and receivables capabilities.
• Validate functional solution designs, configuration concepts, process flows, interfaces, data dependencies, controls and reporting requirements against business objectives and enterprise standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies, ensuring that upstream and downstream impacts are understood, documented and resolved before build completion.
• Provide functional direction to delivery teams, address design and build questions and manage clarifications while maintaining traceability to approved requirements.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, design sign-offs, functional testing, defect triage and regression testing.
• Contribute to business readiness, cutover planning, operational handover and go-live preparation.
• Identify functional risks, assumptions, issues and decisions at an early stage, recommend mitigation measures and escalate them through the appropriate governance channels.
• Ensure that process models, functional specifications, decision logs, status updates, solution documentation and handover materials are complete, consistent and ready for operational adoption.

What you will bring along

• Proven senior-level functional experience in complex SAP transformation programs, including responsibility for leading a workstream or major end-to-end process area.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP BRIM and practical experience with components relevant to the assigned scope, such as Subscription Order Management, SAP Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable.
• Sound understanding of software, subscription, recurring-charge and usage-based business models across the end-to-end lifecycle.
• Experience eliciting and structuring business requirements, leading workshops, producing functional designs and maintaining requirements-to-solution traceability.Ability to assess solution designs across process, data, integration, controls, reporting and operational support dimensions.
• Experience working during the Build phase of a large SAP S/4HANA program, including collaboration with system integrators and distributed delivery teams.
• Working knowledge of testing and deployment activities, including test scenario definition, defect triage, regression assessment, cutover readiness and business acceptance.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, analytical thinking and written communication skills, combined with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across business, IT, architecture and functional teams in an international program environment.
• Experience with high-volume or complex monetization scenarios involving one-time, recurring, usage-based, bundled or partner charges would be advantageous.
• Exposure to integrations between SAP BRIM components and SAP S/4HANA Finance, order management, revenue accounting, tax, data or reporting processes would be an advantage.
• Experience with SaaS or XaaS processes, including software entitlement, consumption, contract changes, renewals, cancellations, billing and revenue lifecycle management, would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate, agile delivery methods, backlog management and design governance in multi-vendor programs is desirable.
• A relevant SAP BRIM or SAP S/4HANA certification would be an advantage.
