SAP Business Analyst

Industry: Pharma / Biologics / Manufacturing

Location: Remote Poland

Travel: Some UK and EU site based travel as required

Day Rate: €350-€400 per day.

Contract: 12 month contract, extending to 2 years.

We are looking for an Business Analyst to support a major digital transformation programme within the pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing sector.

You will play a key role in bridging business and technical teams, supporting the integration of manufacturing systems, digital recipes and shopfloor technologies with enterprise platforms such as SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business and technical requirements across Manufacturing, MSAT, R&D and IT.
• Support SAP-to-shopfloor integrations, interface design and data mapping.
• Define data models, routing logic, integration schemas and Unified Namespace (UNS) conventions.
• Support digital recipes, technology transfer and manufacturing data standardisation.
• Produce functional specifications, integration documentation and process workflows.
• Support testing, validation and GMP compliance.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors.

Essential Experience

• Strong Business Analysis experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with manufacturing systems, equipment integrations and SAP-to-shopfloor connectivity.
• Hands-on knowledge of data mapping, interface design and system integration.
• Understanding of GMP requirements and regulated environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical documentation skills.

Desirable Skills

• ISA-95 / ISA-88
• MES, Historians and Unified Namespace (UNS)
• MQTT / OPC UA
• Digital Recipes / Electronic Batch Records (EBR)
• Computer System Validation (CSV) / GAMP 5
• Biologics or biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience
