SAP BW Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BI/BW, data modeling, extraction, reporting, and BW-ABAP. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant SAP BI/BW experience, including full lifecycle implementation and support project experience.

Mandatory Skills

• SAP BW / SAP BI
  

• SAP BW HANA Consultant
  

• Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP BI/BW experience, excluding experience in other domains or technologies
  

• Experience with BI 7.0, BI 7.3, or BW 7.5
  

• At least 1 full lifecycle SAP BW implementation
  

• Experience in 1–2 SAP BW support projects
  

Technical Skills

• R/3–ECC data extraction
  

• SAP BW data modeling
  

• BW-ABAP
  

• BEx reporting and Excel Workbooks
  

• Functional and technical expertise in SAP BW
  

• Preparation of Functional Specifications (FS) and Technical Specifications (TS)
  

• Technical documentation for extraction, reporting, enhancements, and conversion
  

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP BW solutions independently.
  

• Prepare functional and technical specifications.
  

• Work on data extraction, data modeling, reporting, enhancements, and conversion activities.
  

• Provide technical and functional support for SAP BW implementations.
  

• Collaborate with overseas customers and project teams.
  

• Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  

• Contribute to team collaboration and continuous learning.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with international customers; experience with Eastern countries is an added advantage.
  

• Any degree.
  

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant SAP BI/BW experience must be at least 5 years.
  

• Candidates must meet the implementation and support project requirements.
  

• Candidates should be comfortable with the Bangalore hybrid work model.
