Position Overview

Seeking an SAP BW and HANA Developer to fill a developer role on a break-fix incident team.

Requirements

- End-to-End Data Discrepancy Troubleshooting: Expertise in identifying and resolving data discrepancies across the entire dataflow; proficiency in debugging dataflows and analyzing mapping and logic issues.

- HANA Calculation Views: Advanced troubleshooting of memory and performance issues in HANA Calculation Views; expertise in HANA modeling, including Calculation Views and Table Functions, with a focus on optimizing performance.

- Development and Management of SAP Extractors: Strong experience developing and maintaining SAP source system extractors; knowledge of data loading mechanisms, delta handling, and ETL processes in SAP landscapes.

- ABAP Debugging and Development: Ability to analyze, debug, and fix issues in ABAP code, including custom code used in extractors and transformations.

- SQL and Performance Optimization: Proficient in SQL for data analysis, debugging, and performance tuning in HANA systems and BW environments.

- SAP System Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP BW data models, transformations, process chains, and InfoProviders; familiarity with S/4HANA system integration and CDS views preferred.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication: Strong ability to work on a cross-functional, agile team on root cause analysis and resolution of break-fix incidents; effective communication and documentation skills to explain technical findings and solutions to stakeholders.
