SAP Data Migration Consultant (ECC to S/4HANA) – Part-Time, Remote

ADAMEVE Global IT is a Tokyo-based IT company established in 2020, providing IT services, software development and AI solutions. We are building an AI-assisted SAP data migration preparation and validation service, starting with ECC Vendor Master to S/4HANA Business Partner / Supplier.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP data migration consultant to work with us part-time as a subject-matter advisor. Our engineering team is building the tooling. You will make sure the SAP logic behind it is correct and reflects how real migration projects work.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate our ECC-to-S/4HANA field mappings for vendor master data (LFA1, LFB1, LFBK, LFM1 and address data)

• Advise on the correct migration approach, including CVI-based conversion vs. direct Business Partner loading via SAP Migration Cockpit

• Define and review data-quality and validation rules: duplicates, mandatory fields, bank and tax data, and consistency checks

• Review migration templates and exported files for correctness

• Review pilot results and identify gaps, risks and edge cases

• Document SAP-specific rules and recommendations so they can be reused

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with ECC to S/4HANA data migration projects

• Strong knowledge of Vendor Master and Business Partner (including CVI) in SAP

• Working experience with SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and migration templates

• Practical judgment on real-world data-quality problems

• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in English

Nice to have

• Japanese language ability or experience on Japan-based SAP projects

• Familiarity with Japanese business data (company names, kana/kanji, addresses, bank and branch codes, invoice registration numbers)

• Experience with data reconciliation after migration

• Experience with other master data objects (customer, material, finance)

Engagement

• Part-time, remote, flexible hours

• Contract basis, rate to be discussed

• Possible longer-term involvement as we move into pilot projects

• An NDA will be required before project details are shared
