SAP ECC HCM with Payroll Configuration -

bout the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Configuration Consultant to support ongoing HR and Payroll transformation initiatives within SAP ECC. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in U.S. Payroll configuration , integration, and end-to-end testing — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business processes. Key Responsibilities Configure and support SAP ECC Payroll processes, including schemas, rules, wage types, and off-cycle payrolls. Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable SAP Payroll solutions. Manage year-end processing, tax updates, and payroll interface integrations . Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Time, Benefits, and Finance modules. Troubleshoot payroll issues, support testing cycles, and drive defect resolution. Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and production support post-go-live. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll configuration (U.S. Payroll required). Strong knowledge of schemas, PCRs, wage type configuration, and payroll results analysis . Experience with integration between Payroll, Time, and Benefits modules. Familiar with BLS, Garnishments, Tax Reporter, and Off-Cycle Payroll . Excellent communication and analytical skills. Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or S/4HANA HCM compatibility pack preferred.
