EC Payroll Consultant (Technical)

Role:

The resource is required to support the finalisation and go-live preparation of an SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) implementation for a German payroll environment. The engagement covers configuration, testing, integration, and cutover activities to enable stable payroll production.

• Execute payroll simulation runs and gross-to-net validation to confirm correct calculation results per payroll area.
• Configure payroll-to-FI/CO postings, including symbolic account mapping, cost centres, profit centres, and internal orders. Execute and validate posting simulation runs to confirm correct G/L account mapping.
• Coordinate with the FI/CO consultant to resolve posting differences and incorrect account assignments prior to the live posting run.
• Test and document the full payment and posting cycle, including check replacement scenarios.
• Validate payroll control record management and ensure posting simulation is completed before closing the payroll control record
