SAP EWM Business Analyst | Remote-First, Italy

Remote-first | Residence within 1 hour of Bologna required | International travel | Italian & English required

Are you analytical, curious and ambitious, at the beginning of your career and interested in technology, business, problem-solving and international project work?

Would you like to start your career somewhere where your development gets real personal attention, with close guidance as you build your skills, confidence and responsibility?

At Koretrust, our Business Analyst role is the starting point for becoming an SAP EWM consultant.

We are a specialist IT Consulting and Education company with teams in Italy and the Netherlands and an established voice in the SAP EWM & Logistics community, with 18,000+ followers.

Because we are a small specialist team, your development is personal. You’ll work closely with experienced consultants, receive regular coaching and feedback, and take on progressively more responsibility as your capabilities grow.

Our aim isn’t simply to hire a Business Analyst: we want to develop you into an excellent consultant.

WHAT IS SAP EWM?

Think about the products you order online or buy in a supermarket.

Behind the scenes, companies need to know what is in stock, where it is stored, how goods should move through a warehouse and how the right products reach the right customer at the right time.

SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is enterprise software used to manage these complex warehouse and logistics operations.

YOUR ROLE

As an SAP EWM Business Analyst, you’ll learn how this software works, understand how a client’s business operates and help translate real business needs into working technology solutions.

You’ll gradually learn to:

  • Understand warehouse, logistics and business processes
  • Gather and analyse client requirements
  • Participate in workshops and solution design
  • Configure and test SAP EWM and connected IT solutions
  • Prepare documentation and training materials
  • Support deployments and go-lives
  • Troubleshoot problems and identify root causes
  • Work with international clients and project teams

As your capability grows, so will your responsibility.

The typical career path is: Business Analyst → SAP EWM Consultant → Senior Consultant → Solution Architect & leadership opportunities

Because we also teach what we know, you may later contribute to our SAP Education business as a content creator and trainer.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You are a recent graduate, someone early in their career moving into IT consulting, or someone with relevant logistics or warehouse experience who wants to move into technology.

You do not need previous SAP EWM experience.

What matters more is that you:

  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Are genuinely interested in technology and how businesses work
  • Learn quickly and actively seek feedback
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English and Italian
  • Are comfortable working in a remote, international environment
  • Take ownership and responsibility as you grow
  • Enjoy working with and supporting other people
  • Are ambitious about developing professionally
  • Are open to international travel (35% on average) and hands-on project experience

A background or previous experience in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, supply chain, logistics, business technology or another analytical discipline can be a strong foundation.

WHY KORETRUST?

We’re building a community of peak-performance consultants: people who strive for excellence, keep learning and help the people around them grow.

Being part of a small team means:

· Your development is personal. Senior colleagues know your work and invest time in your growth through coaching and guidance.

· Your contribution is visible. You can gain meaningful responsibility as your capability develops.

· Your voice matters. We expect people to ask questions, challenge constructively and contribute ideas.

· We think long term. We want to build careers, expertise and relationships over years, not simply staff the next project.

And although we work mainly remotely, relationships matter to us. We deliberately stay connected as a team and come together for twice-yearly multi-day team events in Italy or the Netherlands.

We’re ambitious about growing as individuals, as a team and as a company, while believing high performance should be sustainable and compatible with life outside work. Overtime is therefore an exception, not the norm.

OUR VALUES

Our company name comes from three core values that guide how we work:

KO-mpetence: excel in what we do

RE-liability: deliver what we promise

TRUST-worthiness: build long-term relationships

If you want to build a career combining technology, business, international projects and continuous development, we’d love to hear from you.

COMPENSATION & PRACTICALITIES

· RAL: €27,000 – €30,000 gross/year + up to 10% annual performance bonus

· Home-office setup budget

· Additional compensation for business travel that requires overnight stay

· Paid overtime when exceptional project needs require it

· Applicable CCNL: CCNL Commercio, Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi (Confcommercio)

You must be resident in Italy and live within one hour of Bologna.

The role is remote-first (working from home), with in-person collaboration when useful for projects and your development.

International travel is part of consulting, so good access to an international airport and having a driving license are therefore important.
