Duration: Long-Term Contract

Work Arrangement: Remote with on-demand travel to the client site in Vancouver, British Columbia

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced SAP FI-CA Lead (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) to lead the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP FI-CA solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in high-volume financial transaction processing, contract account management, payments, collections, dunning, and integration with other SAP modules.
• The SAP FI-CA Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, functional and technical teams, and project leadership to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions. This role requires strong leadership, solution design, stakeholder management, and end-to-end project delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• • Lead SAP FI-CA functional design, configuration, implementation, enhancement, and support activities.
• • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs.
• • Configure and manage SAP FI-CA functionalities, including contract accounts, business partners, payment processing, account determination, clearing, dunning, collections, and refunds.
• • Lead end-to-end FI-CA processes, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• • Manage high-volume transaction processing, mass activities, payment lots, payment allocation, and account reconciliation.
• • Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI-CA and SAP FI-GL, SAP IS-U, SAP SD, SAP CRM, or other relevant SAP components, as applicable to the client environment.
• • Lead functional workshops, design reviews, defect resolution, and stakeholder discussions.
• • Coordinate with ABAP developers, integration teams, testing teams, and other SAP functional leads to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• • Oversee functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scenarios, and deployment plans.
• • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and system performance.
• • Support data migration, cutover planning, production deployment, and hypercare activities.
• • Mentor functional consultants and provide technical-functional guidance to the project team.
• • Travel to the client site in Vancouver, BC, Canada, as required for project workshops, planning sessions, and key delivery milestones.

Required Qualifications

• • 8+ years of overall SAP experience, with substantial hands-on experience in SAP FI-CA.
• • Strong functional knowledge of SAP Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable processes.
• • Proven experience leading SAP FI-CA implementations, rollouts, upgrades, or complex enhancement projects.
• • Expertise in contract account management, business partner integration, payment processing, payment lots, clearing, dunning, collections, refunds, and account determination.
• • Experience with mass processing, high-volume financial transactions, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• • Strong understanding of SAP FI-CA integration with the general ledger and other relevant SAP modules.
• • Experience in requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, defect management, and deployment.
• • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical teams, business users, and senior stakeholders.
• • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• • Ability to work independently in a remote project environment and travel to Vancouver, BC, when required.

• Preferred Qualifications
• • Experience in SAP IS-U, utilities, telecommunications, insurance, or other industries that use high-volume contract account processing.
• • Experience with SAP S/4HANA FI-CA or migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• • Knowledge of SAP Fiori, relevant integration technologies, and financial data migration.
• • Experience with SAP Activate, Agile, or other structured project delivery methodologies.
• • Prior experience as a functional lead on large-scale SAP transformation programs.
