SAP FI Solution Architect & Functional Consultant (S/4HANA, CO Backup) Own the SAP S/4HANA finance backbone, combining FI solution architecture and hands-on consulting with CO backup across global implementations, integration and transformation. In this role you combine solution architecture with hands-on functional consulting in SAP FI , taking financial processes from design and configuration through go-live and continuous improvement, and you act as backup for SAP CO so that finance and controlling keep running as one. YOUR MISSION Act as solution architect and hands-on functional consultant for SAP FI in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations , rollouts and transformation projects in international environments Design and configure core financial accounting processes : General Ledger , Accounts Payable and Receivable , Asset Accounting , Bank Accounting and intercompany processing Own the financial closing processes , including period-end and year-end closing, reconciliations and foreign currency valuation, and support statutory and management reporting requirements Define and oversee financial interfaces and integrations , including electronic banking (payment runs, bank statements), tax solutions , eInvoicing and IDoc, XML and EDI, ensuring financial data integrity, compliance and system reliability Ensure seamless integration of FI with MM, SD and PP , including account determination, GR/IR and revenue postings, so that logistics transactions flow correctly into finance Act as backup for the SAP CO consultant , covering cost center and internal order accounting , product costing and profitability analysis , and supporting controlling during month-end closing and absences Act as a trusted advisor for finance stakeholders : lead fit-to-standard workshops , translate requirements into solution designs and functional specifications, and drive testing, data migration , cutover and hypercare Support productive finance systems during stabilization and contribute to S/4HANA Finance roadmaps , process harmonization and continuous improvement across international entities YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS Extensive experience as an SAP FI consultant and solution architect , with a proven track record in multiple full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations Deep hands-on configuration expertise in SAP FI : General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting and intercompany processing Solid working knowledge of SAP CO , including cost center accounting, internal orders, product costing and margin analysis, sufficient to stand in for the CO consultant Strong understanding of financial closing processes , statutory and management reporting, and international accounting requirements Experience with cross-module integration between SAP FI, CO, MM, SD and PP and external financial systems, plus solid knowledge of data migration and master data structures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Pronounced customer orientation and communication skills , combined with team spirit and assertiveness Experience in interacting with senior decision-makers Comfortable working in remote and distributed international project teams Excellent communication skills in English ; German is a plus, but not mandatory BENEFITS OFFERED BY OUR CLIENT Competitive remuneration and attractive benefits Flexible working hours and hybrid work from home Dynamic international working environment High value on personal and professional development , including support to training and qualifications PERFECT MATCH?
