SAP Finance Functional R2R, GL & CO (inglés avanzado)

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Finance Functional Consultant to join a dynamic global environment, supporting the Record to Report (R2R) landscape. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in SAP Finance, Financial Accounting (FI), and General Ledger (GL) who enjoy partnering with business stakeholders and driving continuous improvement across complex SAP environments.

As part of a collaborative and agile team, you will work closely with business users, Subject Matter Experts, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional IT teams to translate business needs into effective and scalable SAP solutions. You will play a key role in delivering enhancements, supporting projects, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring the stability and evolution of finance-related processes.

Experience in large-scale corporate environments is highly valued, as the role involves working within a complex and integrated SAP ecosystem. Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is considered a plus, but is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support enhancements, small projects, and ongoing initiatives within the SAP Finance and Record to Report landscape.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and practical SAP solutions.
• Provide expertise across SAP Finance processes, with a strong focus on General Ledger (GL) and Financial Accounting (FI).
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of solutions.
• Execute and support functional testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain effective communication with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, business stakeholders, and project teams regarding progress, priorities, and risks.
• Build strong relationships with business users and Subject Matter Experts to ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities.
• Create and maintain functional, technical, testing, and process documentation.
• Work closely with other IT teams, including Basis, Change Management, Automation, and other SAP support groups.
• Provide support and contribute to Finance-related capabilities such as Cost Accounting (CO), Joint Venture Accounting (JVA), and Fixed Asset Accounting (FA) when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong functional experience in SAP Finance.
• Solid hands-on experience with General Ledger (GL) and Financial Accounting (FI).
• Knowledge of or exposure to Cost Accounting (CO).
• Knowledge of or exposure to Joint Venture Accounting (JVA).
• Knowledge of or exposure to Fixed Asset Accounting (FA).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes within SAP.
• Proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Experience supporting testing activities, including functional, integration, and UAT testing.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and agile teams.
• Experience creating and maintaining functional, technical, and testing documentation.
