SAP FS-CM Consultant & Developer – ABAP

Our client, a leading European insurance group specializing in trade credit, is looking for a specialist to manage the design and technical development of their claims management platform. This role involves a blend of functional configuration and technical implementation to ensure efficient claims handling and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements from claims stakeholders and translate them into functional system solutions.
• Perform system configuration and customizing for core components such as coverage determination and claim item groupings.
• Manage the implementation of reserve management, payment handling, and subrogation processes.
• Develop and modify programs using ABAP and ABAP OO to meet specific business requirements.
• Design functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Utilize technical components such as BAdIs and User Exits to extend system functionality.
• Execute unit and integration testing while providing necessary documentation and training.

Requirements

• 3+ years of dedicated experience in implementing and supporting SAP FS-CM.
• You possess technical proficiency in ABAP and ABAP OO development within the SAP ecosystem.
• You have functional knowledge of SAP FS-PM and SAP FS-CD integration.
• You bring experience configuring Claim Process Models, Coverage Determination, and Reserve Management.
• You have a strong understanding of claims business processes in P&C, Non-Life, Health, or Auto insurance.
• You bring experience working with BAdIs, User Exits, and enhancement points.
• You're proactive and solution-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with SAP data models and technical debugging.
• Knowledge of interface development via Web Services or APIs.
• Knowledge of French or Dutch.
