Role: SAP Functional Specialist (FICO and Treasury)

Exp Range : 5 to 10 years

Work Location : Bangalore(Hybrid)

Role Overview

As an SAP Application Expert, you will be part of a collaborative team responsible for the end-to-end maintenance and development of SAP solutions. Responsibilities include initiating improvements, designing solutions, creating functional requirements, performing testing, and configuring the system to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve, support, maintain, and configure solutions within Treasury and Cash Management, including SAP TRM, Vendor Payments, BCM, FICA Customer Outgoing Payments, Electronic Bank Statements, and Treasury and Risk Management.
• Work with bank integrations, cash pooling, and intercompany netting.
• Analyze business requirements and design effective solutions.
• Configure systems and prepare technical specifications for new functionality.
• Participate in global rollouts and ensure alignment with the global template.
• Test, support, and maintain the Record to Report (R2R) solution.
• Mentor team members and coordinate with cross-functional and technical teams.
• Propose improvements and support long-term SAP Finance optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in SAP Finance, with strong expertise in design, concepts, principles, and configuration, specifically Payments, Banking, BCM, and Electronic Bank Statements in SAP ECC.
• Participation in 2+ implementation projects.
• Solid experience in SAP Finance and Controlling, including system design, configuration, and optimization in large organizations.
• Experience with SAP transport and change management tools such as STMS, Solution Manager, and ActiveControl.
• Functional knowledge of developing WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).
• Strong analytical, strategic, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach and a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred / Optional Skills

• SAP Treasury experience, including MM, FX, Yield Curves, Cash Pool and Sweeps, and Cash Management.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience or hands-on knowledge of FICA Payments.
• Retail industry experience, especially SAP FI-CA.
• Experience with SWIFT integrations.
