SAP GTS Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP GTS Consultant to join our team to support global trade management and ensure compliance with customs regulations and export control. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP GTS, strong configuration experience, and expertise in the areas of compliance management, customs management, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of SAP GTS solutions to meet the business needs of global trade and compliance.

Analyze and manage global trade processes, including import and export management, duty calculation, and trade preferences.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP GTS with other SAP modules (such as SD, MM, and FI) and external systems.

Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including export control, customs declarations, and restricted party screening.

Provide expertise in risk management, product classification, and trade preference programs.

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and provide support.

Conduct testing, user training, and post-implementation support for SAP GTS functionalities.

Stay updated on trade compliance laws and regulations and ensure system compliance accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.

5+ years of experience in SAP GTS implementation and configuration.

In-depth knowledge of SAP GTS modules: Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.

Strong understanding of global trade processes, including export/import management, tariff calculation, and duty management.

Experience integrating SAP GTS with other SAP modules (SD, MM, FI) and third-party systems.

Knowledge of international trade compliance regulations, including restricted party screening, export controls, and customs documentation.

Experience in trade preference programs and product classification (e.g., HTS codes).

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

SAP certification in GTS or related modules.

Experience with S/4HANA implementation for SAP GTS.

Experience working in industries with high global trade volume, such as manufacturing, logistics, or consumer goods.

Project management experience in SAP GTS deployments.
