SAP HCM Data Migration & Support Consultant – Remote / Onshore - US-Citizenship required


For our client we are looking for an SAP HCM Data Migration & Support Consultant with strong technical and analytical skills across SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, and ABAP-based data migration projects.


Tasks

  • Execute end-to-end ETL processes (extraction, transformation, validation, loading) for SAP HCM and SuccessFactors implementations
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation across large HR datasets using SQL, advanced Excel, and basic scripting
  • Perform first-level ABAP debugging to isolate data issues, identify root causes, and provide diagnostic feedback to senior developers
  • Write basic ABAP programs, enhancement routines, and user exits to support data transformation and loading logic
  • Conduct testing cycles (Mock loads, UAT) and coordinate with development teams to validate fixes and ensure data integrity
  • Transition into post-go-live application support, providing ongoing technical problem solving for clients
  • Facilitate client meetings and translate complex data/technical issues into non-technical language for business stakeholders
  • Maintain documentation for migration procedures, issue logs, and support runbooks


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors data migration projects
  • Participation in at least one end-to-end SAP HR implementation lifecycle
  • Ability to read, debug, and write basic ABAP programs, function modules, and user exits
  • Proficiency with SQL, advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros), and data profiling tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication
  • Customer-facing experience with a professional, client-first mindset
  • Exposure to SuccessFactors Integration Center, SAP CPI, or LSMW / S/4HANA Migration Cockpit is a plus
  • Prior experience on US Federal / Public Sector projects is a plus
