What you'll bring

You're an active university student in software development or a related field. You adapt well to new challenges and bring fresh thinking to technical problems.

• Active enrollment in a university degree programme, with at least one year of studies remaining at the start of the internship
• Sound knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language
• Proficient algorithmic thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving
• Customer orientation — connecting your work to real user and business needs
• A collaborative approach to working in international, cross-functional teams
• Clear, confident communication in English — written and spoken
• Any hands-on exposure to AI agents — through coursework, projects, or internships
• Fluency in English, written and spoken, is required for this role

What you'll build

You'll work on live engineering priorities from day one. Your mentors will guide you as you set and deliver real goals.

• Gain hands-on exposure to overhead management and cost structures in SAP's controlling landscape
• Explore and implement AI agents and AI-powered features for the team's innovation agenda
• Contribute to enhancing the backend engine in a production-grade codebase
• Build and refine integration points with S/4HANA systems
• Deliver against real goals with guidance from trained mentors
• Gain cross-functional exposure throughout the internship

Where you belong

SAP Labs in Brno is a global development centre with a focus on enterprise finance and business applications. This role starts in February 2027. You'll work on real engineering and AI challenges in a collaborative, international environment.
