We are looking for an SAP MM Consultant to join Dedeman’s internal SAP team and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our procurement and materials management processes.
We are interested in people who already have hands-on experience with SAP MM, understand the fundamentals of the module and want to continue developing their functional and technical knowledge by working directly with real business processes.
We value practical experience, a good understanding of business processes, curiosity and the ability to learn and grow together with the team.
Location: Bucharest or Bacău, Romania

What you will work on
- Analyze business requirements related to procurement, materials and inventory management.
- Configure, test and support SAP MM functionalities.
- Work with processes such as purchasing, purchase orders, goods receipts, stock movements, material master data and invoice verification.
- Investigate incidents and functional issues together with users and other SAP colleagues.
- Participate in change requests and improvements to existing SAP processes.
- Work closely with key users, business teams, ABAP developers and consultants from other SAP areas.
- Prepare functional specifications, documentation and test scenarios.
- Participate in integration testing, regression testing and deployment activities.
- Contribute to SAP migration and S/4HANA transformation activities.
- Gradually take ownership of more complex SAP MM topics as your knowledge and experience grow.
What we are looking for
- Practical experience working with SAP MM in a business or implementation environment.
- Good understanding of the main SAP MM concepts and processes.
- Familiarity with some of the following areas:
- Material Master
- Purchasing and Purchase Orders
- Inventory Management
- Goods Movements
- Goods Receipt
- Invoice Verification
- Basic SAP MM configuration/customizing
- Ability to understand a business requirement and investigate how it can be supported in SAP.
- Basic understanding of how SAP MM integrates with other SAP modules.
- Analytical thinking and willingness to investigate and solve problems.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest in continuously learning and developing your SAP knowledge.
Nice to have
Experience with any of the following is an advantage, but not a requirement:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP Fiori
- Integration with FI, CO, SD or WM/EWM
- IDoc / ALE / EDI
- Data migration or SAP implementation projects
- Testing and go-live activities
