Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity: Pentoz is seeking an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Expert to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions in manufacturing and production environments. This role requires deep functional knowledge of the SAP PP module, integration with related modules, and a strong understanding of discrete and process manufacturing operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient production planning processes using SAP. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end SAP PP implementations, including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment Analyze business requirements in manufacturing, production scheduling, and capacity planning and translate them into SAP solutions Configure SAP PP module elements such as Work Centers, Routings, BOMs, Production Orders, MRP, and Capacity Planning Integrate SAP PP with other modules including MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), QM (Quality Management), and PM (Plant Maintenance) Optimize production workflows, shop floor execution, and inventory control using SAP best practices Support PP-related Master Data setup and governance (e.g., Material Master, Bill of Materials, Routings) Provide support during cutover, go-live, and post-implementation phases Troubleshoot production issues and provide process improvements to ensure seamless operations Develop functional specifications for custom developments and reports Deliver documentation, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure solution adoption Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP module configuration and implementation At least 1 full-cycle SAP implementation or rollout involving production planning In-depth knowledge of discrete, repetitive, and process manufacturing Proficient in MRP (Material Requirements Planning), Demand Management, Capacity Planning, and Order Execution Understanding of integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, QM, PM) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and technical teams Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration Exposure to SAP PP-PI (Process Industries), SAP APO/IBP, or MES systems SAP Certification in Production Planning or Manufacturing Experience working in manufacturing industries such as automotive, electronics, FMCG, or pharmaceuticals What We Offer: End-to-end project ownership and opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise implementations Competitive compensation and performance incentives A remote-friendly, collaborative, and innovation-driven work culture Opportunity to work on international SAP projects with leading industry clients Career path toward becoming an SAP Manufacturing Solution Architect or Industry SME About Pentoz: Pentoz is a high-growth technology and consulting company focused on building intelligent enterprise solutions.
