SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant | GCAP Programme

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant to join a large-scale SAP S/4HANA Greenfield transformation programme supporting the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), a strategic joint venture involving leading aerospace and defence organisations.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP PS within a highly complex programme environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and functional teams to deliver world-class SAP solutions supporting major project and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PS workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Gather requirements and translate them into SAP PS solutions and functional designs.
• Configure SAP Project Systems (PS) within a S/4HANA Greenfield environment.
• Support end-to-end solution design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Integrate SAP PS with:
• Finance & Controlling (FI/CO)
• Sales & Distribution (SD)
• Materials Management (MM)
• Procurement
• Asset Management
• Third-party scheduling and project management tools
• Produce high-quality functional specifications, process flows, and documentation.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and go-live activities.
• Deliver training sessions and knowledge transfer to end users and support teams.
• Engage with programme leadership and stakeholders across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure solutions align with programme architecture, governance, and security requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant.
• Strong experience delivering SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Experience working on large-scale Greenfield SAP implementations.
• Deep understanding of:
• Project Structures (WBS)
• Networks & Activities
• Resource Planning
• Cost Planning & Budgeting
• Revenue Recognition
• Project Cost Control
• Experience integrating SAP PS with FI/CO, MM, SD, and Procurement modules.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience working within complex programme environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Desirable Experience

• Defence, Aerospace, Government, or National Security sector experience.
• Previous experience on highly regulated or secure projects.
• SAP S/4HANA certification.
• Experience supporting large programme delivery frameworks.
