About the Role

Our client is a global industrial leader operating in over 100 countries, known for its advanced manufacturing footprint and commitment to driving digital innovation across its factories and supply chain. They are currently undergoing one of the most significant ERP and operational technology transformations in their industry to modernize systems, improve efficiency, and enable next-generation operations.

We are looking for an experienced Business Process Owner with strong Supply Chain expertise to act as the bridge between Business teams and SAP / Digital delivery teams. The role focuses on process readiness, Fit-to-Template workshops, gap analysis, requirements clarification, deployment, UAT, cutover, and post-Go-Live support across supply chain processes.

CONTRACT: Freelance / contractor assignment; 3 months rolling

LOCATIONS: Budapest or Warsaw

Responsibilities

• Lead business readiness for SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain deployment.
• Align local teams with the program’s Core Model / Global Template.
• Prepare and facilitate Fit-to-Template / Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Perform process analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis across supply chain workflows.
• Gather and clarify business requirements and translate them into actionable inputs for SAP / Digital teams.
• Coordinate closely with local stakeholders, site management, and SAP delivery teams.
• Support testing, UAT, cutover, Go-Live, and hypercare activities.
• Contribute to change management, user adoption, and training.
• Identify business-readiness risks and process gaps before deployment.
• Capture and share best practices across rollout locations.

• Strong functional expertise in end-to-end Supply Chain processes.
• Solid hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience working on international SAP transformation or rollout programs.
• Strong understanding of supply chain process integration across planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, warehousing, or related areas.
• Experience with Core Model / Global Template deployments.
• Hands-on experience with Fit-to-Template, gap analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering.
• Experience supporting UAT, deployment, cutover, Go-Live, and hypercare.
• Fluent English and strong ability to work between Business and IT / Digital teams
