SAP SD Consultant

Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a SAP SD Consultant. The SAP SD Consultant will analyze and optimize sales and distribution business processes, configure and maintain SAP SD modules, and support integration with related SAP functionalities. The role involves gathering and documenting requirements, designing solutions, preparing functional specifications, and collaborating with technical teams for implementation and testing. The consultant will provide user support, troubleshoot issues, perform system enhancements, and participate in UAT and training activities. Regular communication with business stakeholders is expected to ensure solutions align with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Business Process and Sales & Distribution within SAP SD, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and performance optimization in SAP environments.
• Experience in Consulting, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and solution design for sales-related processes.
• Knowledge of Sales operations and workflows, especially as they relate to order-to-cash cycles and customer service processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP SD configuration (pricing, billing, credit management, delivery, and shipping) is highly beneficial.
• Prior experience in remote project work, with the ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines in a distributed team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to document processes and solutions clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with integration to other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI/CO) and familiarity with best practices in SAP implementation and support.
