Senior SAP SD / LE Consultant

Location: Warsaw / Hybrid - 2 days per month in the office

Employment: Permanent, full-time

Salary: Around 320,000 PLN gross per annum

Travel: Occasional, below 10%

About the Role:

I am currently supporting an international organization in the recruitment of an experienced Senior SAP SD / LE Consultant to join its internal, central SAP team.

This is an in-house position focused on the support, development and continuous improvement of a global ERP landscape, with particular responsibility for SAP SD, Order-to-Cash and Logistics Execution.

The position requires a strong functional SAP background combined with hands-on technical capabilities. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently with ABAP code when smaller adjustments or enhancements are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert 2nd level support across SAP SD and Logistics Execution processes
• Analyze incidents, change requests and business requirements and translate them into sustainable SAP solutions
• Configure, test and implement SAP SD / LE solutions
• Support and optimize end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes
• Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and ABAP debugging
• Independently implement smaller ABAP changes and enhancements
• Modify and extend existing ABAP programs and user exits
• Develop simple custom reports, including ALV reports
• Prepare functional specifications and cooperate with ABAP developers on larger developments
• Support EDI, interfaces and integrations with external systems
• Participate in international SAP projects, rollouts and continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate testing, documentation, handover and key-user training
• Support standardization and harmonization of SAP Sales & Logistics processes

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in SAP SD
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Logistics Execution (LE)
• Very good end-to-end understanding of Order-to-Cash
• Strong hands-on SAP SD / LE customizing skills
• Experience with sales orders, deliveries, shipping, pricing and billing
• Understanding of integration between SD and MM, FI/CO and WM
• Experience with incident management, change requests and root-cause analysis

Technical / ABAP Skills

This is primarily a functional SAP SD / LE position rather than an ABAP Developer role. However, hands-on technical independence is an important requirement.

Candidates should have practical ABAP debugging skills, including:

• Confident ABAP debugging and code interpretation
• Ability to independently modify existing ABAP code would be an advantage
• Experience with user exits and enhancements
• Ability to implement smaller code adjustments without relying on an ABAP Developer would be an advantage

For larger and more complex developments, the consultant will cooperate with dedicated ABAP specialists.

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of EDI and SAP interfaces
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical SAP solutions
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with business stakeholders and key users
• Fluent English
• Availability to work 2 days per month from the Warsaw office
• Willingness to travel occasionally
