Senior SAP SuccessFactors Consultant – Core HCM & Platform

Location: Hungary (Remote)

Position Summary

The Senior SAP SuccessFactors Consultant - Core HCM & Platform is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, integration, and support of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and related platform capabilities.

This is a hands-on functional consulting role requiring deep expertise in Employee Central, Core HR processes, workforce data management, integrations, reporting, and platform governance. The consultant will partner with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, Security, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, standardized, and globally compliant solutions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong solution ownership, stakeholder management, business communication, and accountability for delivering outcomes throughout the solution lifecycle.

Success Profile

The ideal candidate is a senior Employee Central consultant with deep expertise in Core HCM Business Processes, Employee Central, and Its integrations with SAP ERP and SAP Finance, and global HR processes. They combine strong configuration skills with excellent ownership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities, and are able to independently lead solution design, drive decisions, and deliver scalable global SuccessFactors solutions in complex multinational environments.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Configuration

• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and solution design workshops.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SuccessFactors solutions aligned with SAP best practices.
• Configure and support Employee Central and related platform capabilities.
• Develop functional specifications, solution designs, configuration workbooks, and testing documentation.
• Drive process standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Project Delivery & Support

• Lead functional activities for global implementations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
• Design, implement, and support Employee Central integrations, field mappings, and data interfaces.
• Support integrations between Employee Central, SAP ERP, SAP Finance, Payroll, and other enterprise applications.
• Execute SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Security, and Integration teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
• Evaluate and support quarterly SuccessFactors releases and feature adoption.
• Provide production support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Conduct administrator training, knowledge transfer, and documentation updates.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• 10+ years of HRIS/HCM consulting experience.
• 7+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience.
• Minimum four full-cycle global SAP SuccessFactors implementations.
• Extensive hands-on Employee Central configuration experience.
• 5+ years of Employee Central integration design, implementation, and support experience.
• Experience integrating Employee Central with SAP ERP and SAP Finance solutions.
• Strong understanding of HR master data, organizational structures, position management, workforce administration, and cost center management.
• Experience supporting multinational organizations and global HR processes.

• SAP Certified Associate – Employee Central
