SAP Technology Lead

We're partnering with a dynamic international industrial group to find an SAP Technology Lead to join its growing team in Sofia. The company works with an external AMS provider, and this role will serve as the internal technical owner of its SAP landscape - setting direction, governing technical delivery, and ensuring the environment remains secure, reliable, and fit for the future.

About the Role:

As SAP Technical Lead, you will provide technical leadership and governance across SAP RISE, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, ABAP, and integrations. You'll work closely with IT and business teams, SAP RISE, and the AMS provider to guide solution design, uphold technical standards, and ensure high-quality delivery and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the technical roadmap for SAP RISE, S/4HANA, BTP, ABAP, and integrations.
• Provide technical guidance and governance for SAP solutions, developments, and changes.
• Coordinate with IT, business teams, SAP RISE, and the AMS provider to ensure quality delivery and support.
• Oversee integrations, APIs, security, performance, and technical standards.
• Lead resolution of major incidents and drive continuous improvement across the SAP landscape.

What We're Looking For:

• 6+ years of experience in SAP technical roles, with advanced ABAP expertise.
• Solid background in SAP architecture, system integrations, APIs, and SAP Cloud Integration.
• Proven experience collaborating with or overseeing an SAP Application Management Services (AMS) provider.
• Familiarity with SAP change and release management, testing, and live-system support.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
• Strong knowledge of SAP security principles and compliance requirements.
