SAP Test Manager

SAP Test Manager is required ASAP by our client

Tis is a one off opportunity to join a very large SAP programme based in Dubai , on site 3 days with remote options 2 days per week

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for overseeing the quality assurance, test planning, and execution phases of forthcoming SAP releases, upgrades, and digital transformation projects.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Define end-to-end SAP test strategies, frameworks, test levels, and risk-based testing approaches
• Test Execution Management: Lead testing phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, performance, and data migration testing
• Defect Lifecycle Management: Oversee tracking, triage, and resolution of system defects across functional and technical teams
• Automation & Tools: Drive the adoption of test automation frameworks (such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, or SAP Solution Manager / SolMan
• Stakeholder & Governance Reporting: Provide senior leadership with daily or weekly status reports on test readiness, cutover plans, and go-live risks
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with SAP functional modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, SuccessFactors, Ariba), BASIS, security teams, and external middleware

Required Skills & Qualifications

• SAP Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, ERP, Cloud solutions, and SAP Activate or SolMan methodologies.
• Testing Certifications: ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification or SAP-specific testing credentials.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with test management and automation tools like SAP Solution Manager, Jira, HP ALM, or Tricentis Tosca.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong capability to manage multi-site or offshore/onshore testing teams and communicate risk to business stakeholders.
