You enjoy solving day-to-day warehouse and logistics challenges through hands-on SAP expertise and a strong understanding of business processes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly in SAP, supporting users, configuring solutions, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvements. While you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, this is a hands-on SAP specialist position focused on operational support and solution delivery rather than a consulting, advisory, or transformation leadership role.
You are comfortable working with users, business stakeholders, and technical teams to support stable operations, resolve issues, and improve business processes across the supply chain landscape.
You thrive in environments where you can take ownership of SAP support activities, configuration, enhancements, and operational improvements that make a direct impact on supply chain performance.
Helping You Thrive By:
- Offering competitive wages and benefits, that support your life both in and out of work
- Providing a flexible hybrid work schedule, meaning we expect the office to be your primary place of work, balanced with choice and control.
- Creating continuous learning opportunities to help you grow and upskill.
- Fostering a culture of inclusion where employees feel seen, heard and valued — and living it out every day.
- Empowering you to make a meaningful impact on people and the planet through your work and Steelcase’s ongoing commitment.
You’ll Support Meaningful Work By:
- Serving as a key functional expert for SAP WM support, configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancement activities, with a strong focus on hands-on solution delivery and operational excellence.
- Supporting business-critical production environments through incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Configuring and maintaining SAP WM solutions, including inventory management, warehouse structures, inbound, outbound, and material movement processes.
- Supporting SAP enhancements, system improvements, testing activities, and post-deployment stabilization efforts.
- Working with business users to identify opportunities for process improvements that increase operational efficiency and system reliability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across manufacturing plants, distribution operations, and regional teams to resolve issues and deliver practical solutions.
- Supporting integrations between SAP WM and related modules, including MM, SD, PP, QM, and FI/CO.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and future SAP roadmap activities.
- Creating and maintaining functional documentation, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of SAP functional experience with hands-on SAP WM configuration, support, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting warehouse management and logistics execution processes in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse-intensive environments.
- Experience managing incidents, investigating system issues, and performing root cause analysis in SAP environments.
- Experience participating in SAP enhancements, testing, implementations, or support projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP WM integration with MM, SD, PP, QM, and FI/CO.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve operational issues.
- Fluent English.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience as an SAP WM Analyst, Functional Analyst, Logistics Systems Analyst, WM/MM Specialist, or similar role.
- SAP certification in WM, Logistics, or related SAP functional disciplines.
- Experience with SAP EWM.
- Experience supporting SAP projects, upgrades, rollouts, or enhancement activities.
- Experience with EDI, third-party logistics (3PL), warehouse automation, or mobility solutions.
- Manufacturing or distribution industry experience.
- Experience supporting end users, conducting testing, and creating functional documentation.
- Mandarin language capability is strongly preferred.
