Finance Transformation Manager – EPM | CFO & Enterprise Value
Accenture, recognized as a Great Place To Work®, is a leading global professional services company that helps major businesses, public administrations, and other organizations define their future, create value, develop their digital core, optimize operations, and accelerate growth through strategy, technology, and innovation.
We are looking for Finance Transformation Managers specialized in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) to join our CFO & Enterprise Value practice within Strategy & Consulting.
You will lead functional EPM transformation projects, helping Finance organizations evolve their Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Consolidation, Management Reporting, and Performance Management capabilities.
Working closely with CFOs, Finance leaders, FP&A and Controlling teams, you will analyze business needs, redesign Finance processes, define functional requirements and target solutions, and lead the delivery of EPM transformation programs in collaboration with technology and implementation teams.
This is a functional Finance Transformation role rather than a technical EPM implementation position. We are looking for professionals who combine strong Finance and EPM functional expertise with consulting, project management, client management, and team leadership capabilities.
What you will do:
- Lead functional EPM transformation projects across Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Consolidation, Management Reporting, and Performance Management.
- Manage EPM projects throughout the transformation lifecycle, from assessment and requirements definition to functional design, implementation support, testing, adoption, and business readiness.
- Work with Finance teams to understand current processes, identify pain points, and define future-state EPM processes and operating models.
- Advise Finance stakeholders on the improvement and standardization of FP&A, planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and performance management processes.
- Gather, challenge, and translate business needs into functional requirements and solution designs, acting as the link between Finance stakeholders and technology teams.
- Define EPM transformation roadmaps, priorities, functional scope, governance models, and implementation plans.
- Lead functional workstreams and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Finance, Strategy & Consulting, Technology, and Data.
- Manage project delivery, including scope, planning, risks, dependencies, deliverables, stakeholder alignment, and quality.
- Support Finance teams during functional testing, user acceptance testing, change management, training, and adoption.
- Bring functional knowledge of leading EPM platforms such as Anaplan, Oracle EPM, OneStream, SAP EPM solutions, Board, or similar tools, without requiring hands-on technical development or configuration expertise.
- Identify opportunities to improve Finance decision-making through automation, analytics, data, AI, and GenAI, from a functional and transformation perspective.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner to Finance and business teams throughout the transformation.
- Contribute to proposals, business development activities, client presentations, and the development of EPM and Finance Transformation offerings.
What this role offers
- The opportunity to lead functional EPM transformation projects for leading organizations in Spain and internationally.
- Direct interaction with CFO organizations, Finance leaders, FP&A and Controlling teams.
- Exposure to complex transformation programs across Planning, Forecasting, Consolidation, Reporting, and Performance Management.
- Collaboration with technology specialists while maintaining a clear focus on functional Finance transformation and business outcomes.
- Exposure to leading EPM platforms, Data, Analytics, AI, and GenAI from a Finance Transformation perspective.
- The opportunity to manage multidisciplinary teams and take ownership of key EPM transformation workstreams.
- Career growth within our CFO & Enterprise Value practice.
- A hybrid working model, combining remote work and on-site collaboration in our Madrid office.
The role is based in Madrid, under a hybrid working model.
- 7+ years of experience in Finance Transformation and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) within consulting or large-scale transformation environments.
- Strong functional understanding of one or more EPM areas such as FP&A, Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Consolidation, Management Reporting, Controlling, or Performance Management.
- Experience leading or managing EPM transformation projects or functional workstreams.
- Ability to understand Finance business requirements and translate them into functional processes, requirements, and solution designs.
- Experience working with EPM platforms such as Anaplan, Oracle EPM, OneStream, SAP, Board, or similar solutions from a functional or transformation perspective.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience coordinating functional and technical teams while maintaining ownership of the business and Finance transformation agenda.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to work effectively with Finance leadership, FP&A, Controlling, and other business stakeholders.
- Previous experience in consulting and/or Finance transformation environments is highly valued.
- Fluent Spanish and English communication skills.
